It seems that this new album was thought out, conceived and put together whilst a new baby (born in the Kitsuné family recently) was being breastfed in the room next door. He’s called Yumé – ‘dream’ in Japanese.

This year has been a very successful one for The Twelves.

They were most recently commissioned to remix big name tracks such as La Roux’s “In For The Kill”, A-Ha’s “Take On Me”, Groove Armada’s “Drop the Tough” and Metric’s “Help I’m Alive”.

Metric has teamed up with Deco Dawson to create a video for “Help I’m Alive”.  This is not a music video, but a short film.

We have all heard Metric’s single “Help I’m Alive” as an original track and in its acoustic glory but here is The Twelves with their very own electronic version of the track and you can now dance to Metric outside your bedroom once again!

Good Friday deserves a comprehensive mix for the much needed long weekend.

With Royksopp, Bat For Lashes, A-Ha, Ladyhawke, Lykke Li, Cut Copy, Phoenix and new kid on the block Don Diablo, this mix is really gooooooood.

Cicada is releasing a new album Roulette in May!!

They came to exist originally as the remix and production duo of Alex Payne and Aaron Gilbert, and in no time released a series of acclaimed remixes of artists as diverse as Depeche Mode, New Order, Electric Six, and even our favorites The Enemy.

The Virgins were were showered with mainstream love last year and we don’t normally say this, but they totally deserved it.

“Rich Girls” was #68 on Rolling Stones best songs of 2008 list, and the band’s music was featured heavily on that hit show Gossip Girl.

Thieves Like Us is a musical vehicle — an elegant starship, pointed straight to the heart of the listener. They align themselves musically with Europe, and consider Paris their home (although none of them are French).

La Roux is basically everything you wanna hear in the near future.

When Kitsune signed her up and we heard her first single “Quicksand” last year, we loved it but we didn’t know she was aiming for more than just some love.
