Alison “VV” Mosshart of The Kills apparently passed out with a sudden inablity to breathe properly while singing.

This is the latest video from The Kills of their track ‘Tape Song‘, from their album, Midnight Boom which was released earlier this year. It was let go last week by domino records on youtube and you ask why people absolutely adore them when no band out there is even half as beautifully warped as them.

It contains footage of the band while they were touring in US with The Raconteurs.

This video is of The Hours with their latest track, See The Light.
It is a short film in its own right i swear.

Directed by Tony Kaye (American History X), with the art direction by Damien Hirst and featuring Sienna Miller, this film is not as disturbing as i though it would be. But it definitely stunned me and left me in awe.

Vampire weekend are the latest band to hoard and run riot in the indie music blogosphere.
And its for a good reason.

These columbia university alumni (NYC again!) have performed alongside the likes of The Shins, The Kills and Supergrass on Jools Holland so be sure to watch out for them.

Being influenced by african popular music and western classical music
has resulted in the freshest sound i have heard in a while.

On the 18th day of march, the kills will drop another bomb
called midnight boom, their 3rd album to date.

Jamie(aka mr kate moss) and Allison ditched the urban jungles of LA
in need of fewer distractions and embraced the wilderness of Michigan,
aiming to create “modern playground songs” with “upbeat melodies and dark lyrics.”

According to the duo, midnight boom refers to
the period of midnight to 6 AM, the glory time of creativity and secrecy.

They are the epitome of the rebel’s rebel,
from scathing at artistes who cash in on handphone ringtones
to constantly trying to create grittier sounds.

Their first two singles already reiterates their status as gods of glamorous grime.
