The last few months without any new tracks from The Golden Filter left us feeling somewhat uneasy.

We were lost and unsure of what to make of the scene without their much needed presence.

Little Boots featured her spanking new video of “New In Town” last week on her myspace page and we loved the track throroughly, including the amazing remixes by Fred Falke, The Golden Filter and the likes of Drop The Lime.

We sound like a broken record player.

But to put things straight, we love The Golden Filter so much we are willing to feature them every other week.

Disco legends in the making The Golden Filter recently signed on to Dummy Records (Dummy Magazine) to release their 7″ single ‘Solid Gold‘.

PETER, BJORN & JOHN came up with a song that spawned a trillion remixes and covers, which we all can whistle to by heart.

The Golden Filter wishes to remain a mystery.
While they have live shows in the UK with the big boys like Erol Alkan, Digitalism, LOTP to Hercules & Love Affair among many others, nobody really knows who and what is The Golden Filter.
