Rockets is the musical brainchild of Fred Oliveira, a designer and programmer by day. A member of Discotexas, a label and collective we have mentioned many times now, he’s known for producing tracks that range from filtered disco house to italo-disco and electronica.

Having begun his DJ career 18 years ago, pioneering the Electro/Funk/House scenes of Idaho and working his magic in such places as Amsterdam & Brussels, Bodie Lee has wowed audiences everywhere with his slick, sexy and exhilarating musical journeys.

Kasper Bjorke is one of our favorite Danish electronic producers of the moment. “Kasper Bjorke” is his solo project exploring analogue disco sounds while “Kasper Bjorke and The Friendly Ghosts” is his alter ego for a more minimal techno/house project.

Ali Love shot to fame on our radar as the singer on the Chemical Brothers’ smash “Do It Again”, and of course his own earlier solo singles.

“European Vacation”,  the follow up to “Prom Night” by Linus Loves is a sunsoaked ride through landscapes inspired by italo disco and classic house.

Pierre Laroux and Victor Le Manse are Housse De Racket (literally translated as racket cover) and surprisingly, their choice of band name
was much more than a reference to tennis, rather their way of signalling their aim to make a ‘racket’ of house music itself.

In the spirit of “Forward Thinking” according to Cutters Records who have both Cut Copy and Knightlife under their stable, they have created a trailer video for “Knightlife II”.

Knightlife II is the new EP by none other than Knightlife himself and is out now digitally. (12″ next month)
