Chairlift’s rise to fame might just do them injustice after all.

With a spot on an ipod commercial (a surefire way to fame), they melted adolescents all over the world with that wonderful ballad.

Its really not nice to introduce a band as “the one with the song used in the ipod ad”.

Its a given that a band would get a much more attention and scrutiny if their songs are used in an apple commercial.

The title of my post also didn’t highlight that..

It would be convenient to do so but no i’m not gonna do that.

It doesn’t do Chairlift justice.

The song used in the ad was bloody brilliant and I really don’t know how apple keeps on doing it.
