We all know what happened the last time these 2 names were mentioned in the same breath.

We were left in awe of the beauty in that track by the Friendly Fires.

We have been gone for a while.

we will try to make up for lost time with these.

These boys known as Friendly Fires met in school and formed a band at a fine young age of 14.

Back then, they used to be a post-hardcore outfit.

They have grown and matured over the years, progressing to the sounds of today..which is essentially a good mix of everything.

They are inspired by pop, lush shoegaze melodies, disco house and dance.

Au Revoir Simone, these 3 girls from brooklyn are gearing up for a release of Reverse Migrations – a collection of their favorite remixes and re-envisionings of 2007’s breakthrough full-length The Bird of Music.

The band has let loose two tracks on us and its here for your pure enjoyment.

There will be other familiar artists in this album including The Teenagers, Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip and Darkel of AIR.

The album will be officially released on Nov 11th and the taste so far has been superb.

honestly, i didnt know much about shinichi osawa aka mondo grosso up till last year.

He wasn’t on my hit list and i sorta ignored his presence.

I am just glad I did not continue ignoring him.

He’s been nothin short of awesome and is a massive japanese artist who is well known all over
and his mixes of digitalism to felix da housecat have turned heads over and over again.

so are you gonna let him be the one? just get his album. its ridiculously good.
