Female Swedish s(w)ingers’ orgy alert.

WIN TICKETS TO CATCH EMMY THE GREAT LIVE!!!
Emmy The Great may not be a new name to some, for singer songwriter Emma Lee-Moss has been reducing rowdy crowds to an awed silence for some time, releasing her debut single in April 2006.

We’ve got obssessions. we ALL do.
We here are absolutely smitten and obssessed with Marina & The Diamonds. Having kept it secretly in our playlists for months, its time we unleash the beast of quality music on you all once again.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs have a new video for the track “Heads Will Roll” from their latest album Its Blitz and as much as we have to agree they have diluted their gravitas, emotion laden lyrics to simple indie-rock stomps, we still dig them with all our hearts.

Metric left us fighting the war, the war that wouldn’t stop for the love of God.
It has been 4 years since their 2005 release Live It Out which left the world reeling.

Metric’s new album Fantasies will be out April 14th and we will have a review of that album later this week, but there’s a particular track off that album that really struck a chord with us.
It is called “Gimme Sympathy” and is one hell of a pop tune.

Angus & Julia Stone fell onto our laps but got stuck on our hearts instead.
They are a brother / sister duo from Sydney, Australia.
If you have had a little too much of the electronica from the music scene these days, look no further.
Read on and you will not regret.

Lets put it this way, nothing, NOTHING will ever chase away your monday blues better than the music of Jakob Dylan.
We meant to feature him as part of Sunday Sounds, but we had to start the week totally right with Bob Dylan’s son.

Heartless Bastards just released their 3rd album “The Mountain” earlier this month and Metric (Emily Haines, above) have an album named “Fantasies” due on the April 14th.

The Tings Tings will play live in Singapore on the 13 of Jan 2009 at Fort Canning Hill.
They will be playing here before heading to Aussie for Big Day Out.
Info and rare MP3 after the jump.
