Since making its UK radio debut on Annie Mac last Friday, everyone’s been getting quite excited over the predictably stunning collaboration between Monarchy and Holy Ghost. What’s even better is that the guys now want to share the love!
New York DFA cohorts Holy Ghost (and possibly Sonar Kollektiv / Innervisions bloke Dixon, we’re a bit unsure of his involvement) have taken the space funk pop of the original and dressed it a big shiny suit of clattering percussion. Make no mistake their version is ready to party and party HARD.
We seriously recommend getting out there and tracking down the original too. The Monarchy guys are carving out a real niche and winning plenty of support for their slick pop-electro productions, and we’re confident that ‘Love Get Out Of My Way’ should appeal to pretty much anyone with a functional set of ears. They’ve conquered the crossover high ground that Sam Sparro was probably aiming and look set to make it their own.

The single for ‘Love Get Out Of My Way’ is released 26th July, and the Monarchy guys are offering even more freebies (recent Kelis remix and LGOOMW Dub version) to anyone who signs up for their new mailing list. Bit of a no-brainer really… just click here.
