KOOBRA ‘THRILLS’ EP

Just like the mad little Scientologist sports agent in Jerry Maguire, Top Billin’ had us at ‘Hello’. Or at the very least they had us at ‘Check out this cracking new release from Helsinki 78-82’ when they dropped a storming EP into our mail box back in January. Now Koobra (one half of Helsinki 78-82) is back with a pulsating new EP on the same label.

His ‘Thrills EP’ is a marriage of filter house and dreamy electro that once again has us revving our engines for a late night cruise of the city streets (mirrored aviators, slicked back hair – the lot). We’re lucky enough to be able to post the lead track ‘Thrills’ here in full 320 glory, but don’t let that put you off when it comes to buying the release. All three tracks are fantastic and more than deserving of your attention, with ‘It’s You’ working in an infectious vocal hook while ‘Questions’ cracks out the fuzzy italo business.
