EYE OF EDEN ‘FRIDAY AFFAIRS’ MIX

It’s Friday folks, and that can only mean one thing – time to double up on your beats dosage and get prepped for the weekend ahead.

It’s a whole week before out next Tashcast is due (with Stay Ali at the controls, going to be large), so in order to avoid a potentially fun-threatening beat shortage, we’ve recruited Singapore’s own Eden Cai AKA Eye of Eden who has been good enough to supply us with a fantastic mix of his own. Touching on a range of genres, there’s a vein of ‘Friday Feeling’ running through all of these 30 tracks, so bang this one on while you’re doing your hair / sinking some pre-club beers.

“My aim to bring genres together, from funk to soul, house to techno, Uk-funky to dub-step & etc. First half of this mix is slower paced, more soulful and boogie, introducing a selection from Omar feat Angie Stone, Gold Panda, Linkwood, Incredible Bongo Band & etc, second half of the mix focus on a fine selection of the underground UK sound ranging from Garage to Dub-Step.”
