Its been a while since we last did a post on Thieves Like Us, and no we have not forgotten who they are.
Thieves Like Us are two Swedes and one American living in Berlin, Paris, and Milan. They are one of the only multi-nationals that won’t exploit you.
Mexicans love them. The French love them. Americans love them. The Japanese love them. How can we/you not love them as well ???
None of the members in the band live in their home countries, and none of them probably ever will again.
They were first discovered by the French imprint Kitsuné, who released their single, “Drugs In My Body” in 2007. They make music they like to call pop, with a vintage electronic feel. Many times it makes you dance. Other times it just makes you feel strange and wonderful.
(youtube is a little wonky these days, we hope it works for all of you)

After leaking their last single “Never Known Love” and it’s accompanying video about a month ago, the trio of Thieves Like Us are back on April 20th with a new single “Forget Me Not” (listen to it here).
Reminiscent of the seventies-era Vangelis, it’s a sentimental dance song, a soulful pop ballad about yearning and the nature of romantic memory.
It is also the last track on Thieves Like Us‘ highly-anticipated second album, Again and Again, slated for release on May 7th through various portals in Europe and the US. They will also continue with their non-stop world tour after the release.
Enjoy these remixes they have bestowed upon us, including an impeccable remix from Cécile, who is signed with Gomma, one of our favorite labels of the moment.
