PNAU “WITH YOU FOREVER” X COSMO BLACK

There have been a couple of sweet remixes of PNAU’s track “With You Forever”, from Fear Of Tigers to FM Attack which we love to bits, but today we are gonna talk about a brand new act from Australia (again) who did a bootleg of the track featuring Luke Steele’s (Empire Of The Sun) vocals.

Cosmo Black is currently in the studio recording their first studio single with able production from nu-disco maestro’s The Swiss.

We have not talked about The Swiss before, but once again they are aussies and they are under Modular, who rarely gets anything wrong and while there isn’t much stuff from them on offer at the moment, anything & everything we have heard from them has been nothing but gold.

So to quell the rumbles of internet anticipation the upcoming single release, Cosmo Black have jammed together this Bootleg featuring what was a B-Side Cosmo track with Luke Steele’s vocal. The result: real synths, virtual synths, real guitars, hand claps and arpeggiators build together to form a dance-floor ready cosmic pop sandcastle that’s never washed away.

“The cool thing about “With You Forever” is it is the first Empire of the Sun song, before they were EOTS. Listening to it is like watching a star appear at dusk that is long dead, so when we came across the acapella of Luke with PNAU we decided we had do something with it.”
