NYC collective The Phenomenal Handclap Band are an 8-piece band, with a variety of special guests.

Led by Daniel Collás and Sean Marquand, (producers/musicians/pals/DJs), the band released an incredibly amazing remix album for “15 to 20″/”You’ll Disappear” recently, out on Friendly Fire Recordings.

The band has enlisted the help of some of the finest electronic artists around the world for this digital-only release, including Prins Thomas, Montee, Horse Meat Disco, Ilya Sanatana and more.

The band has been playing select dates with Simian Mobile Disco, Chromeo and Bajofondo among others, and have been on our radar with their amazing album and video of “15 to 20″.

Their self-titled album on the other hand features contributions from their friends in TV on the Radio, Antibalas, The Dap Kings, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, L’Trimm, Calla, The Mooney Suzuki, Sí Se, and Honeycut among others.
