FLORENCE + THE MACHINE X THE XX

We were utterly disappointed when Florence + The Machine did not win the Mercury, losing out to Speech Debelle instead.

After all, her album was such a howler and more than deserving. We are hoping sales manage to make up for her disappointment!When we stumbled upon a remix of one of her tracks by the HOTTEST band of the moment, The XX, we were literally drooling.

We had high expectations and they didn’t disappoint. Its not just an ordinary remix they did, by lending their vocals to the track, sprinkled with dubstep influences.

There seems to be no unifying theme to The XX, with influences so varied its hard to fathom they are capable of such fresh music.

Sit back and bask in the glory of this beauty of a track.
