METRIC “HELP I’M ALIVE” DOCUMENTARY

Music | Johnny | May 4, 2009

Metric has teamed up with Deco Dawson to create a video for “Help I’m Alive”.  This is not a music video, but a short film.

We all know how much we love Metric right here and did a review of their glorious new album sometime back, but this video with all the beautiful visuals and wonderful concert footage is something else so make sure you catch it below.

This track’s success was a huge surprise to the band themselves as they were all ready to release that gorgeous track “Gimme Sympathy” as the 1st single but its popularity even on all the airwaves worldwide stumped them and led to this tracks early release.

If you have not heard the acoustic version of “Help I’m Alive” along with the lovely electronic remix by The Twelves, please feel free to grab them below.

Deco had taken the concert footage of “Help I’m Alive” and turned it into something that looks like Yo Gabba Gabba on acid. Nothing else needs to be said only seen.
