INTERPOL FRONTMAN TO RELEASE SOLO ALBUM

Interpol’s brooding frontman Paul Banks is planning to release a solo album under the name Julian Plenti.
The new project will be released in August 4th and is apparently called “Skyscraper” as mentioned previously on the Matador Blog.

The lead singer, lyricist and guitarist of Interpol has said that while the album was recorded recently, some songs were actually written more than ten years ago!

The album is described as having a “cocky, sexy” feel, with tracks that sound similar to Interpol, as well as some straight-ahead guitar rock songs.

Cannot wait.
