CHAIRLIFT GETS REMIXED

Chairlift’s rise to fame might just do them injustice after all.

With a spot on an ipod commercial (a surefire way to fame), they melted adolescents all over the world with that wonderful ballad.

While they got famous, ardent fans of theirs were bemoaning the labels and stereotypes slapped on their favorite psychedelic band from the NY underground scene.

They were formed and surrounded by an indie-folk scene in 2006, but have progressed to jangly jingles and sexy synths to hit the nail on its head in this digital age.

We do not see their success as a problem though, as the most exciting electronic producers such as Sinden and Juan Maclean have added their touch to one of their tracks “Evident Utensil“.

Funny how these just appeared when MGMT also dabbled with it last year.
