NEW VIDEO: PASSION PIT – THE REELING

Passion Pit stormed to attention last year with their now famous EP Chunk Of Change and are now ready for their first full length Manners due for release on May 16th. “Sleepyhead” was their claim to fame and many dubbed them as the “Next MGMT”.

That we will have to wait and see, but with a first single as hyped and loved as “Sleepyhead” might just prove to be their biggest problem as yet. Trying to match that success alone would be difficult, but to try and beat it would be too much of an expectation.

“The Reeling” is their first single off Manners and while it is not half as jangly and kooky as “Sleepyhead”, this track is definitely a looker.
It also shows their potential to match their expectations, with 80s dance synths and Michael Angelakos voice, we might just get an  album to keep for the ages.

We are not gonna pass our judgement with one track but the future looks bright.
