Catch the line-up for Lanvin’s Spring/Summer 2009 handbags, as head designer for Lanvin, Alber Elbaz, gives a reinterpretation of the accessorial handbag. Small clutches and coin purses are the the themes for the season as pieces feature silk leopard prints with intricately-customized details including sequins, beadwork and bows.

This line continues to impress as usual, with top-notch quality in terms of both design and fabric taking centrestage. Not for the faint-hearted though, the series is tailor-made for that adventurous streak in the ladies. Elbaz ditches understatement with this new line and perhaps this might be a cue for you to step out of the box, at least just for this season.
