Remember Where The Wild Things Are?
The cult, sacred childhood literature is finally coming to life on screen.
Reportedly owned by various companies over the years, they have shrugged off massive delays with a release date set in sight.
It is directed by none other than Spike Jonze.
The cast features actors Paul Dano, Forest Whitaker, James Gandolfini and Mark Ruffalo and it is really a fantasy come true.
Music fans out there can totally rejoice.
Karen O was revealed as soundtrack composer for the film last year and we know we can expect GREAT music for the film. We can already see that with the trailer for the film which uses the mother of all indie anthems, Arcade Fire’s “Wake Up” to draw us all in.
Last year we heard news that the project for this film was off with things going terribly wrong in production and Spike getting kicked off but who knew that 1 year on, the film will have a specific date for release.
OCT 16 2009 it is and with such talented people working on the film, its time to sit up and take notice.

Thanks so much for the mp3. I’m not an AF fan, but I loved what I heard of this song in the trailer.
