Valerie is a collective from France, and two of the prominent names pop up the moment we think of them.

College & Anoraak, from Nantes, have been romancing us here with their version of 80s synths/electronic/dream/pop for the pretty much the whole of 08′ and have been played repeatedly in our sets and playlists.We really dig the music coming from them.

Frustrated with the crappy mainstream music coming from France, the collective was formed and they are really keeping us excited with their light dreamy electro.
Many of their friends have been featured on Valerie as well, and we love practically anything that comes from them.

College recently released an album called Secret Diary, which we LOVE ROTTEN and features the likes of Minitel Rose and Electric Youth.
It can be bought in all shapes and sizes from vinyls to CDs, DVDs & even a VHS tape of it. More info on their Myspace.

We cannot stop listening to Anoraak too! so please help us.
He has a mini debut album “Nightdrive With You” released and it is pretty damn brilliant.

We need to catch them live real soon.

We would love to feature College & Anoraak separately as individual artistes and but will only do that after this because we wanted to explain them as part of a collective in Valerie.

They are all over the electronic music blogs, expressing love for them.
We have tried to keep a lid on them but they have already exploded.
