PETER, BJORN & JOHN came up with a song that spawned a trillion remixes and covers, which we all can whistle to by heart.
But nothing that came after was just as memorable, even though tracks like “Lets Call It Off” were really good as well.
So was “Young Folks” a boon or a bane for the bands future?
Seaside Rock, the album they released last year had ’sophomore slump’ stained all over and critics jumped at the chance to put them down.
Thankfully, they have decided to come up with another new album named LIVING THING, this year, and by putting their lead single track for this album through what we all know by now as THE GOLDEN FILTER, things seem to look so much brighter than before.
The band knows what has been said after “Young Folks”, so they are making their rounds once again.
Cut them some slack, you all loved young folks.
