The Killers have a new album Day & Age slated to be released on the 24th of November.
Japan, among all the countries in the world, happen to get aurgasms a few days before.
They have already released the CD there this morning, or the 19th of Nov.
Tracks of their album have already been floating around for ages, especially that hit single “Human” which is so bloody infectious.
While many have their hands up in the air trying to make meaning of their lyrics, not many have dared to deny what The Killers have become.
The biggest pop/rock band on the planet.
A huge title around their waist, but its true.
>>shiny MP3s after the jump
The track “Human” alone has 3 mixes from Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and Stuart Price (aka Thin White Duke aka Jacques Lu Cont) EACH. Yes, that means 9 remixes from them alone.
We will have a full review of their latest album soon, but here’s 2 remixes of “Human” i know all of you want.
So the question is are we human, or are we dancer?
Someone give me an answer.
Update:
The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers came out in an MTV interview to confirm his lyrics, which is in fact “are you human, or are you dancer?”. He wasn’t too happy when some people thought it was “denser” instead. He was quoted as saying “They think it’s nonsense. But I was aching over those lyrics for a very long time to get them right.”
He acknowledged that the lyrics aren’t grammatically correct, but he also commented that he is also allowed to do what he wants.
The inspiration for the lyrics was from a Hunter S. Thompson quote – ‘We’re raising a generation of dancers’.
