Last week I had a discussion with a friend of mine about their annoying hippy video for Electric feel.Don’t get me wrong,this album is one of my favourite overall this year and a complete work of art.But we both agreed that this new hippy look feels absolutely artifical and has nothing to do with their music.It just seems like somebody wanted to create a new trend on the back of their earned success with MGMT.

  2. the guys in MGMT are both really into the whole psychedelic thing and are known acid heads, so it’s actually a pretty natural step for them to make a video like that…plus how could you ever hate on a video that dank
